On campus employment

On campus employment gives working students the opportunity to work at their college. With this they will be able to work right after or before their classes. Their work hours could also be adjusted to prevent conflict with their class schedule.

The college could allow students and train them to work certain jobs around campus, some examples can be: Teaching Assistant, Library assistant, campus tour guide, IT technician, Campus cafeteria/barista, Resident Assistant etc. allowing students to work these jobs can also solve any understaffing issues the college may have.

Having the option to work inside the campus can benefit working students. This eliminates transportation cost and time between school and work, as the working student can walk to work right after their classes. The college will also be able to monitor their working students better and be able to control their working hours to better fit their schedules, It would be easier for them to schedule their classes and workshifts. Students may be interested to take on campus employment as it would be more convenient then seeking employment elsewhere.
