The office of student affairs or a designated committee reviews applications, giving certified working students priority. In order to address urgent financial needs without having to wait for lengthy processing times, approved applicants can claim the assistance within one to two working days. Subject to eligibility requirements, students may receive assistance once per semester in order to maintain the program's eligibility requirements.
