To better help spread awareness and inform on the current state of working students, we aim to create a documentary that explains to the audience who working students are, what challenges they face in their daily lives, and possible solutions on how to improve their situations and ensure they thrive academically. Accompanied by this documentary is a three-episode podcast all about hearing the stories of working students and learning about the current existing programs for college working students. With our programs, each school can choose what would be best for their students. We created Ang Working Scholar, after seeing our working student friends face challenges at school alone we realized there is a distinct lack of support systems for working students in colleges throughout the Philippines. We want schools to be informed about the issues that working students face, working students, and equip them to help their students as much as they can.
