Ang Working Scholar is a multimedia project made by two MMA students in Benilde. Our goal to help college working students in the Philippines by providing information on the challenges of working students as well as provide program ideas that student governments and school administrators can take and implement to help the working students in their colleges.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n

As of 2024 there are 260,000 working students in the Philippines, 70% of whom are living paycheck to paycheck and 77% working to support their families. While there are existing systems in place to support these students, not every school has them, and not every working student has access to them. So we need your help so that all working students who are in need of help can get the help and support they need.
