What is Ang Working Scholar?

Ang Working Scholar is a multimedia project made by two MMA students in Benilde. Our goal is to help working college students in the Philippines by providing information on the challenges they face and provide program ideas that student governments and school administrators can implement to help the working students in their colleges.

Working College Students Need YOU!

As of 2024 there are 216k working college students in the Philippines 75% of which are living paycheck to paycheck and 77% working to support their families. While there are existing systems in place to support these students, not every school has them, and not every working student has access to them. Explore our website to learn more about how to help working students.

Working Scholar Welfare  Initiative (WSWI)

WSWI offers concept programs that schools can implement for their working students. Each program is tailored to solve specific challenges and accommodate schools.
